I had a lovely stay overall, with spacious and clean rooms that were perfect for my dog. The location is convenient, and I found the staff to be friendly and eager to help.
The breakfast menu could benefit from having a dedicated chef to prepare items like eggs benedict.

We had a wonderful stay at the inn collection group. our ground floor room was spacious and clean, making it very comfortable for our stay. having a private door for easy access outside for our dog was a thoughtful touch. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the variety at breakfast during our second morning, which made for a pleasant start to the day. the hotel served as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, and dining at the restaurant both nights was a good experience.
Not one thing! 😊.

Great location with spacious, modern rooms and a lovely outdoor seating area. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Enjoyed the friendly staff and the unique offer of a free drink for opting out of daily housekeeping. Perfect base for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast!

Location near the coast offers fine views and is perfect for seaside strolls. The family room provides ample space for relaxation with comfortable furnishings. The bar area has a cozy vibe, ideal for unwinding after a long day of exploring.
Food quality across meals stayed below expectations. Several menu items like steak and chicken lacked proper cooking, impacting the overall dining experience. Breakfast buffet often had items that seemed overcooked or dried out, and replacements were slow. An apparent obsession with dogs in public areas felt out of place, raising health and safety concerns. Interaction regarding cleanliness at tables could use more awareness.

My wife's birthday dinner was a disaster; both courses had to be sent back because they were inedible. We ended up canceling our reservation for the next night, fearing it would be just as bad.

spacious family room, dog-friendly amenities, great outdoor access
Room only lit by lamps, leaving it dark!!! Without proper window coverings, privacy is an issue!!! The bathroom cleanliness needs urgent attention for a more pleasant stay!!!

This was just an optimal selection for a brief stop-in in Amble with great value for the money. The staff were accommodating, and we appreciated the free drink offered for not having our room serviced. Be mindful that breakfast items can run out, so arrive early for the best options.
